Modern Mobs V1.0

This addon turns almost all of the game's mobs into modern versions of themselves. Not only that but it adds guns, police criminals, and other fun surprises. Perfect for city roleplaying!

Much like my last addon, Inhumanity, this addon humanizes many of the game's mobs, however unlike Inhumanity, this addon also brings them into the modern age. For starters in converts villagers into citizens, of which there are multiple variants both male and female. 

Many of the game's humanoid mobs have been physically changed as well but some now also behave differently with other mobs. As much as I would love to share each one here I feel like that would take alot of the fun out of exploring this addon for yourself. ;)

New to the game are naturally spawning Police Officers and Criminals who will fight each other throughout the city. In the future one might be able to join them, but for now do your part as a good citizen and help the police clean up the streets. 

As well criminals one might find the occasional escaped convict. 

With streets this dangerous a sword and bow just won't do. Which is why you'll have a few new weapons to work with. These include a knife, a crowbar, a machete, a pistol, a shotgun, and an automatic rifle. As well as new weapons there is not tangible money. No more using nuggets. It also serves the purpose of recruiting citizens into the police force. 

To use the guns just put the correct ammo in your offhand slot while using the gun. To reload crouch and left click. Always smart to get under cover before reloading right?

Most cities aren't frequented by parrots but these guys tend to be plentiful.

Some background and information about this addon:

This was a project I started and then abandoned last year that I eventually wanted to be a GTA type addon. I recently decided to pull it out because I thought even at the stage it's at was something you guys might enjoy playing even once just for laughs, before it was possibly lost forever. Unfortunately the guns and ammo are not craftable at the moment. I wanted to try stray away from over complicated 3D guns with attachments back to what minecraft is. 2D and simple. They also look pretty good in 3rd person. I expect there to be a load of glitches and errors, but it works fine for me so far, just let me know. It includes alot of custom audio which probably accounts for alot of the file size. 

You have to have experimental features on for this to work. 

If you're going to spawn Drowned...   I implore you. Only spawn them in water. ;)

 

Installation

Ad free mcaddon files. Just download and run them with Minecraft open.
